The most recent three days of the nine-day Navratri celebration is seen as Saraswati Puja by numerous Hindu groups particularly in western and southern parts of India. Goddess Saraswathi, the Hindu Goddess of Knowledge and Learning, is loved throughout the period. Saraswati Puja 2014 throughout Navratri starts on October 1 and closures October 3 in most places particularly in South India.

Distinctive Hindu groups have diverse system for satisfying and loving Goddess Saraswati throughout Navratri.

In western parts of India particularly in Maharashtra the customs start with Saraswati Avahan (October 1, 2014), Saraswati Pradan Puja (October 2) and Saraswati Balidan Puja (October 3) and Saraswati Visarjan (October 3).

In Kerala, the significant Saraswati Puja is hung on the most recent day of Navratri and on the Vijaya Dasami day. On the most recent day of Navratri all books are kept for Puja and is taken after fitting customs and love on the one day from now which is seen as Vidyarambham day (October 3, 2014). Little youngsters are launched into the universe of letters and learning on the day.

In Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, the most recent three days of Navratri is devoted to Saraswathi Puja and likewise includes the Ayuda Puja.
