The Hornbill Festival of Nagaland is one of the greatest social events in the North East. It is a week-long occasion held consistently in Nagaland. The Hornbill Festival is a celebration to resuscitate, ensure, maintain, and advertise the abundance of the Naga legacy and customs.

Hornbill Festival is a festival of the rich social legacy of the Nagas. Throughout the Hornbill Festival, all the Naga tribes meet up for a week-long festival of their social and customary predicament. It's a period where all these tribes get together to showcase their age-old conventions and come closer to knowing one another. The principle occasions of the Hornbill Festival occur at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama which is something like 10kms from Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland. Conventional Naga cottages and Morungs (kid's residences) common to each of the Naga tribes are manufactured and raised in a manner that nearly looks like their customary rapture on a little hillock in Kisama. The spot itself is grand and otherworldly, and the celebration is basically epic!
